Insurance Coverage
All Star Suites motor vehicles are insured for $1 million in civil liability and property damage, with a $1,500 collision and all-risk deductible. Our insurance does not cover the loss of personal belongings, accommodation, transportation or a replacement vehicle if an accident renders the vehicle inoperable.

Exemption from Damages
VIP coverage is available at a cost of $15 per night. This coverage lowers the client's liability to $500 per incident (off road: $1,500), as described below. Accidents must be reported immediately, with a written police report and file number.

Damage to the radio, air conditioner, refrigerator, microwave, appliances and cruise control are not considered mechanical failures.

Clients must pay the following maximum charges, depending on which insurance plan they choose:

Deductible Payable per Incident

Accidents, collisions (involving 2 vehicles on a public road, driver at fault or not), fire, theft and vandalism (with a police and accident report only): $1,500 (Basic) / $500 (VIP)

Windshield / window: $500 (Basic) / $250 (VIP)

Off-road accidents including accidents on campgrounds, parking lots, entrances, etc.: $3000 (Basic) / $1,500 (VIP)

Damage caused while backing up: $3,000 (Basic) / $1,500 (VIP)

Roof damage (not caused by an accident involving 2 parties): $3,000 (Basic) / $1,500 (VIP)

Damage to carriage and tires: Full cost (Basic) / $3,000 (VIP)

Damage to cabin (not resulting from an accident involving 2 parties): $3,000 (Basic) / $1,500 (VIP)

Driver unauthorized or under the influence of alcohol/drugs: Full cost (Basic and VIP)

Damage caused by criminal act: Full cost (Basic and VIP)

US Insurance
$10 / day (required for all travel to the United States). Clients who travel to the United States without informing Camping Car Star Suites are not covered by insurance in the event of an accident and become fully liable for any costs incurred.
